A great beach, I call it a hidden gem. Only thing that’s not so great is the parking is $6 an hour. A vast beach that’s clean and big. When the tide is out you can walk a mile to reach the water. I go there often.
This is a phenomenal beach! Really long and wasn't very busy when I went there. The dunes are off limits.
A great beach experience! The parking lot had plenty of parking available or it seemed like a convenient walk to the main road. The bridge over to the beach was beautiful. Then the beach itself was so clean and well maintained. The views from the bridge and beach made this a must visit stop.
I have come here with my family every soingle year of my life and it is such an amazing place. The water this year was Absolutly divine at somewhere around 65-70 degrees it was so so warm. I have done a lot of surfing here and sometimes it is quite nice, like during the more stormy days when not a lot of people are out on the beach. It’s also great to walk around or up and down the beach.
A nice beach 🏖️ with lots of seagulls and a few other types of seabirds. Nice view and a good place to take a stroll and listen to the surf. Paddle boarding and boogie boards are activities you can do. Half hour parking spots before entrance. The parking lot is expensive 🫰. $5 per hour. You can pay at the entrance or at the meter.
I have been thrice and though it is very busy, I can find a spot to sit 🪑 and read without being disturbed.
Public restrooms are available.
I brought my friend and she liked walking along the shore.
When high tide 🌊 arrives, it can swallow up the shoreline!
I recommend a visit but have $ for parking 🅿️.
Update: February 2024; On an unusually warm day and with the stairs removed, it is an active beach ⛱️.
One of my favorite beaches! Clean, great for kids, mostly clear water, good restrooms, parking is $$$$, super soft sand. Love it!
Very pretty Maine beach. Too cold to get b the water while we were here. Nice bridge that you walk over to get to the beach. There are pay stations for parking, so it’s not free to park. Also no dogs allowed, and you cold be fine $250 I think it said, if you get caught.
Absolutely a wonderful beach! It's also clean!
